I guess there is a certain “sound” that defines every time period, and those sounds are generally influenced by sounds from other time periods. There are a lot of different factors that influence the art of an era, and in this particular instance, there’s a boom in a “homemade” aesthetic which is no doubt due to the fact that it’s easier than ever for those with a creative leaning or a conceptual idea to make a vision come to life on a very limited budget.
