Aaron Noble uses comic book imagery in his paintings to create new imagry. He stretches out and morphs these pop culture images in negative space to create what he calls a landscape. In an interview on Osmosis TV he compares this current series to acreature out of David Cronenberg’s “Fly”. He describes the figures in his newest works as “morphed but powerful”. Noble “feels that super heroes are already not human so why must they be stuck with the human form”. Aaron was first recognized as a street artist in San Francisco but, his art now focuses on street culture and western comic art.
