Two things that one would never expect to go hand in hand? Buddhism and mechanics. However, art is never limited. Wang Zi Won, a creative from South Korea, used his working knowledge of mechanical aspects and applied it to his spirituality. Wang has created Buddhist sculptures with working mechanical parts, and the result is beautiful. The mechanical pieces on these Buddhas move slowly and gracefully, adding a whimsical, almost magical feel to the infamous spiritual figure. An ancient belief with a modern touch, these pieces are truly impressive!
