Look at that building over there. Are your eyes seeing actuality or are you being hoodwinked? No, your eyes are not deceiving you. Dutch artist Benjamin Verdonck created an elephantine sized replica of a nest giving him a bird’s eye view of Rotterdam.
Concocted with a contingent of unorthodox building supplies like a bucket of spit, ( yes that’s spit as in saliva) a few bales of straw and a dozen buckets of glue, provisioning these items together just like a bird would for a real nest makes one wonder what was reasoning for this project.
Lucky for us the owners of the Weena building were open to the idea which brought on looks of intrigue by passersby on ground and at bird level.
