German artist Wolfgang Stiller created this beautiful series of sculptures to express his interpretation of the human condition. Words can not describe how “burnt out” society has become, which is why Siller used art as an explanation where words can do no good. The sculptures hold the charred heads of the matchstick men, which symbolize our tired souls. Wolfgang is portraying how sick and tired of being sick and tired most of the population has become, and the hellish desperation that coincides with it.
