We recently got a chance to visit artist Ryan De La Hoz in the studio as he prepares for his upcoming exhibition here in Sacramento at Bows & Arrows.

Ryan De La Hoz was born in 1985 and lives in San Francisco, CA. He has been published by FLJ Magazine in Tokyo and Beautiful/Decay in the US.

He has participated in solo exhibitions in San Francisco and Seattle + group exhibitions in the United States as well as the Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, Canada, and the United Kingdom. He thinks a lot about loss, hope, isolation, freedom from oppression, the destruction of natural resources, myth, magic, and the pursuit of happiness.
