Got a recent email submission from San Francisco photographer Shayne Herrera. Shayne captures the underbelly of the city beautifuly.
“My work is a collection of photographs that reads like a bizarre family album. This family album is comprised of unforgettable moments and experiences while photographing everything I have see over the past few years. What makes my work different than most artists is its honesty. I am not trying to capture beautiful individuals or pretty locations; my vision is to illustrate an open, caring, and honest look at people, places and things that everyone encounters on a daily basis. Where most people see a world that has become mundane and predictable, I see a world where each person is an individual with their own unique story to tell… Each place is familiar, yet uncharted… and every object is more interesting than the next. I am an artist lost and in love with the world around me, the only way to describe this world is through my photographs ”
Shayne also has a 100 page book of photos for purchase entitled “I Dont See It That Way” get it here.
