Alan Palomo, aka Neon Indian, returns with his technical sound editing abilities. This time reinterpreting T Rex‘s hit “Children Of The Revolution“, an ominous anthem for the new age. Neon Indians laid back dreaminess douses the main riff creating a sonic lullaby. The original fuzzy guitar line replaced with synth and tape mods is also a slick twist to the old forgotten song. He Manages to show the power of electronic/non conventional music by replacing the instruments of the traditional rock anthem. Alan also changes the chorus with dreamy ethereal vocals, shifting the energy of the entire ballad. This cover creates a more toned down personal vibe without taking away from the power in the songs lyrics, a damn proper cover. You can check it out above and if you haven’t yet, listen to the original!
