Austere synth ice bath from little known German singer Silvia, here. The beautifully sparse backing – restless synths, hand claps and all – was provided by the former German electro/punk experimenter Tommi Stumpff. More than a little cold war disaffection has seeped into the music, and Silvia’s self titled album in its entirety (which you can consume HERE) makes for something of an alienating listen.
