Swedish graphic design artist Finsta has been drawing since he was a bored kid. Inspired by the insipid hours of the day, he’s created a rich new world of textures and personalities that come to life in his design. His illustrations are grainy, gritty and exuberant, and his use of color is high impact. Using stippling to produce the look of textures and curves, Finsta’s graphic designs impress the viewer with a sense of calculated grunge. This series of cartoon faces comes from a gallery exhibition Finsta did in 2008. Note the boss way in which he incorporates everyday objects into a cohesive anthropomorphic design.
