YOUNG GIRLS‘ music showcases a classic lo-fi indie rock sound. With a distinct pre-millenium twist on their garage pop, the young band play typical post-Strokes sounds but with the tweeness of more recent indie pop like Saturday Looks Good To Me.
While the band has’nt quite challenged themselves to any notable degree, their evident energy is enough to suggest alone that they’ve plenty more in them for going further as they hone their sound. The guys are young, but the potential in their sound is obvious to anyone, and there’s a chance it’ll prove something worth keeping an eye on.
