With the current trend of 90′s bands who have been re-uniting (Pavement, Pixies, Soundgarden), the unlikely Creaming Jesus have decided to follow suit. Nevertheless, whatever reunions are actually about, Creaming Jesus are back to take rekindle the punk flames that have been defecated upon by such posers as Green Day, Fall out boy, etc.
In an era of apolitical indie rock, Creaming Jesus’s blend of scathing social commentary with punk chords is a welcome change. While the band has been in and out of the rock game since the 80′s, their idiosyncratic take on evil has barely dwindled. Keep a paranoid eye out for their third album produced by Dave Fridmann of Mercury Rev.
