Tame Impala have found a knack for taking its psychedelic rock sounds back to a sound of its origins, all the way back to the 1960s. The four-piece band from Perth, Western Australia takes its electric guitar riffs and classic rock sounding voices to create some just plain cool songs. Among one in particular is “Desire Be Desire Go,” which is reminiscent of a lost Steppenwolf track but with The Mamas & the Papas lending their vocals all in a 21st century twist. For more songs off of the band’’s debut album Innerspeaker, go to the band’s Myspace.
