Is there some unwritten law that requires tattoo’s be of a distinct image/design? Most tattoos I have seen have been within these restrictions, and I have always wondered why not defy the constraints of this common practice and just go at it like Jackson Pollock would if he had some flesh and a tattoo gun. These abstract tattoo paintings do not look very much like real tattoos, and most people would certainly be fooled into thinking they are simply paint splatters. The fact that a momentary feeling is captured in these tattoos is a very interesting concept. See more of Amanda Wachob’s art here.
