Torontonian electro duo Thunderheist may have decided to shut the party down for awhile, but will exit their three year musical partnership gracefully, by leaving us with a new video for “Drive In – Drop The Limes B-Live Mix”. After announcing earlier this year via their Myspace page that “…This time it’s REALLY OVER!”, Thunderheist shared some of the reasoning behind the amicable split with Spinner. Says Isis (one half of Thunderheist, the other is DJ Grahm Zilla): “I need a break. The last year alone we played almost two hundred shows, so that’s pretty much every day. You want to slow things down and recoup and now I’m getting a chance to do that.” Both members have been spending time on various solo projects, most notably Grahm Zilla’s Nautilusslovesyou, but will wrap up the Thunderheist era with shows in Vancouver and Victoria, BC and Seattle. Their farewell video for “Drive In” can be seen here.
