Since 2003 the indie world has been left scratching their heads wondering why? Here seven years after his death, new and old fans are still left without answers. With the autopsy report saying that this could be a homicide or a suicide, one thing is for sure fans are still left wanting more. Don’t be mistaken though, this will not turn into a Tupac fiasco with people taking trips to Oregon and claming to see Smith, but Kill Rock Stars, Smiths label pre-mortem, has released Roman Candle which has been remastered and From a Basement on the Hill. There has also been a collection of photographs and interviews that were taken by one of Smiths friends and acclaimed photographer Autumn de Wilde. This book will also include Conversations with friends, family, and heavy hitters in the music world, musicians in the book include: Ben Gibbard, Matthew Caws, Neil Gust, Ashley Welch, Sam Coomes, Dorien Garry, Jon Brion. This book is available though New Chronicle Books.
